Become an Earth Care Cadre Member

The Earth Care Cadre is an 11-month leadership development program designed to develop the next generation of food & sustainability advocates, urban gardeners, educators, and leaders. We are seeking dedicated, service-minded people to become Cadre members in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

What You’ll Do

Earth Care Cadre Members serve full-time for an 11-month term.

One half-day a week, Cadre members participate in a leadership development program in which local community leaders and expert practitioners lead workshops and host service projects. Cadre members’ training includes food security, nutrition education, advocacy, community organizing, leadership development, service learning, urban agriculture, and project management.

Cadre members participate in community building activities, contribute to team service projects, and receive individual coaching to support their professional development throughout their service.
